Job Summary/Basic Function

The Department of Management at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty position (#747010) at the rank of lecturer. This is a one-year temporary appointment. The contract may be renewed annually, subject to available funding, demonstrated need, and satisfactory performance as assessed through annual evaluations. The appointment start date is August 1, 2026.

The successful candidate will teach in the Department of Management and in the interdisciplinary Applied Leadership Program, including courses such as general management, leadership, conflict, change management, and ethics.

Required Education

A master's degree in management or a Master of Business Administration is required by the appointment date.

Required Related Experience

Five (5) years of management experience is required by the appointment date.

Other Desirables

Applicants with college teaching experience will receive special consideration.
