Senior Resource Specialist Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Responsible for faculty credential approval for all courses offered by the University. Documents faculty credentials in Banner and in the Instructional Faculty Roster. Credential approval applies to all tenured and tenure track faculty, non-tenure-track faculty, including adjuncts, staff, graduate assistants and post-doctoral scholars. Oversee and manage the part-time faculty hiring process, including background checks, parking decals, verification of EPAF matched with instructional course load in Banner, and academic credential check. Maintain database of all part-time faculty (including staff and faculty teaching as an overload) each term. Approves access to student records for all part-time faculty each term via Workflow, a Banner product to conform to FERPA regulations. Assists the Associate Provost for Academic Administration and Resources in all budgetary and finance related functions of the Division. Includes preparation of the annual budget for Academic Affairs, monitoring of all accounts, correction of errors, review of all budgetary revisions in the Division, and distribution of funds for special initiatives approved by the Provost. Completes University response to all faculty unemployment claims and represents Associate Provost at appeals hearings as needed. The Senior Specialist is a member of a team that provides data, analytical, and executive level support for a wide range of functions within the Division of Academic Affairs. Conduct analysis and prepare reports in response to faculty and administration requests and to address policy and decision-making issues. Perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Outreach Specialist - CHHS Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Provide direct support to Center for Health & Human Services (CHHS) leadership to identify, apply for, and manage pre- award tasks related to external grants and contracts for CHHS. Identify potential funding opportunities with federal, state, and private funders and present to CHHS Director. Assist the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance develop, monitor and oversee all aspects of NCAA compliance for 17 NCAA Division I athletic programs.
