Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of Social Work at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a coordinator-track faculty position at the rank of instructor. The start date for the position is August 1, 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating practicum education
- Conducting outreach to practicum agencies
- Maintaining practicum education records
- Ensuring accreditation standards for practicum education are met
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
Required Education
A master's degree in social work from a CSWE accredited university is required by the appointment date.
Required Related Experience
Two years of full-time social work practice experience is required by the appointment date.
Required License/Registration/Certification
A social work license or license eligibility in the State of Tennessee is required.
Other Desirables
Applicants with practicum education experience as a coordinator or supervisor of students in practicum settings or those with higher education teaching experience will receive special consideration.
