Reporting to Manager – MakerSpace, Apply knowledge of Windows and MacOS to provide installation, configuration, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of software and hardware for MakerSpace including CAD computers, Mac Lab, and specialized media spaces. Provide technical support for Library Technology as needed. Supervise, assist, guide, and mentor Team Leaders and Student Technology Assistants (STA) (25-30) in all aspects of desktop, classroom technology, and multimedia equipment support. Deliver training to all Lib Tech student workers on use and troubleshooting of equipment, technology, and software including multimedia equipment and spaces, laser cutter/etcher, CNC routers, vinyl plotter, dye sublimation printer, filament 3D printers, SLA resin printer, sewing and embroidery machine, hand and power tools, Virtual Reality headsets, micro controllers, microcomputers, soldering, Adobe and Autodesk applications. Hire, onboard, schedule, and monitor hours worked for Team Leaders and STAs for MakerSpace. Supervise STAs and Team Leaders in Technology Services and EIC/REF as needed or assigned by Supervisor. Help MTSU students, staff, and faculty properly use media and fabrication software, technology, and design equipment and hardware. Assist in providing curriculum enrichment services. Assess fines for student accounts including interpreting library policies to patrons and resolving discrepancies. Remain current on technology trends, tools, and support methods for new technologies adopted for use within the library spaces, MakerSpace, Mac Lab, and classrooms. Document support interactions in work order system. Environment includes servers, multiple platforms, classroom systems, multimedia equipment, and discipline specific software. Primary schedule for this position is 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, flexibility is required to support special projects and events.
Assistant Men's Tennis Coach Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Middle Tennessee State University Athletics Department, a NCAA Division 1 program, is looking for an Assistant Coach for the men’s tennis program. The position will assist the Head Men's Tennis Coach to organize and administer all aspects of our NCAA Division I men’s tennis program. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: day to day on-court match/practice coaching of student athletes; individual skill instruction; scouting and recruiting athletically and academically sound and competitive student athletes that can compete at the NCAA Division I level; scheduling to enhance championship opportunities; set up and oversee team travel planning; oversee and promote compliance of NCAA rules among staff, student athletes, and representatives of athletic interest; serve as a positive role model for student athletes; and assist Head Coach with managing assigned budgeted funds. Position will also oversee staff and team managers, serve as housing liaison for on and off-campus apartments, oversee admissions for incoming players and work with the Academic Counselor to monitor tutor and study hall assignments, work with agents for graduation athletes, and act as a liaison with the MTSU Public Safety Department. Senior Project Coordinator – OPSR Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Middle Tennessee State University’s Center for Health and Human Services, in partnership with the MTSU Data Science Institute, will form an Office of Prevention Science and Recovery (OPSR) for purposes of addressing the opioid epidemic through strategic and coordinated efforts at the local level in response to and working collaboratively with the Rutherford County Opioid Board (RCOB). The senior project coordinator will be responsible for working under the direction of the CHHS Director and in consultation with the RCOB to coordinate core activities of the OPSR.
Electrician Lead Worker Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The primary responsibility for this role is to install, repair, retrofit, and maintain all exterior lighting at MTSU using ladders, lifts or the bucket truck as needed. The Electrician Lead Worker will check all electrical work for code compliance, proper installation, and safety considerations. Maintenance Mechanic Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Working from within Building Services - Construction/Renovation Shop, perform general electrician services for projects that include moving, adding or removing electrical outlets, light fixtures and switches, or other electrical devices, including photocontrols and timers. Coordinator - ET Outreach (Application Deadline: 8/1/24) Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Serves as the primary liaison between external stakeholders and the Engineering Technology department. Associate Athletic Trainer Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Associate Athletic Trainer will report to the Associate Athletic Director of Sports Medicine. The position will supervise and coordinate athletic training services for student-athletes in intercollegiate athletic programs – primarily men’s basketball. Required to be flexible and adapt to schedule changes as necessary. Serve as an approved preceptor within the CAATE accredited graduate athletic training program. Provide direct supervision of intern athletic trainers for assigned sports and graduate athletic training students in the athletic training education program; instruct these students in professional prevention, care and rehabilitation of assigned student-athletes as well as the certification and licensure process.
