$42,114 - $51,870; commensurate with experience

Job Summary/Basic Function

Provide assistance to the Manager of the Tennessee Livestock Center (TLC) to include planning and supervising the work routines required to set up and clean up the TLC for events. Duties include show ring preparation; training, supervision and coordinating the work schedules of student employees. Perform routine maintenance on TLC machinery; oversee the operations of the Tennessee Livestock Center in the absence of the Manager; coordinate concession stands during events and perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.

Required Education

Bachelors degree. Note: a high school diploma or HSE and five years directly related experience in an agricultural/equestrian facility may be considered in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.

Required Related Experience

One year directly related progressively responsible work experience in an agricultural/equestrian facility. Must be able to operate tractor, skid steer, related light machinery. Valid driver's license required.

Desirable Related Experience

Five years progressively responsible experience in agricultural/equestrian facility management preferred. Facility management experience preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Prior experience working in an agricultural or equestrian facility preferred.
