Job Summary/Basic Function
Provide information technology support services to the MTSU community, including faculty, staff, students, and visitors. Diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot systems and equipment either onsite or remotely. Respond to and close out work order requests.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related technology field.
Required Related Experience
Three years of experience supporting information technology systems in a medium to large organization. NOTE: A Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification may be considered in lieu of two years of full-time, related experience.
Desirable Related Experience
One year of extensive experience with the installation, maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting of networks and network management systems, preferably in a medium to large higher education institution.
