Job Summary/Basic Function

This is a 30 hour per week, 80%, position with prorated benefits.

Serve as administrative assistant for the Engage office. Provide clerical and technical support to the Director and Assistant Director. Create requisitions, process payroll documents for faculty stipends, adjuncts or extra compensation, etc. Process faculty course forms and notify Scheduling to assign sections of AMTE (Engage) attribute; maintain database of faculty interest forms and other faculty participation; send notifications to faculty and students; pull reports on student and faculty involvement and other student progress reports. Confirm students meet minimum requirements for awards/badges or other recognitions. Assist with arrangements and logistics for events/workshops. Occasional evening hours required. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Education

High school diploma or high school equivalency (HSE).

Required Related Experience

Two years of secretarial, clerical, office, or customer service experience required.
Note: An Associate's degree (two years of college coursework) and one year experience or a Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of work experience.

Desirable Related Experience

College coursework or technical training in office administration, purchasing/accounts payable, Microsoft Office, information systems, or related field etc preferred.
