Job Summary/Basic Function

The Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Program Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the University's Prior Learning Assessment program, ensuring compliance with institutional and national standards while advancing innovative pathways for adult learners – particularly working professionals to earn academic credit for prior learning. The position oversees program administration, teaching, and curriculum development for PRST 3010 (PLA portfolio development course), schedules course offerings, and coordinates instructor assignments, student advising, and cross-campus collaboration to expand access, improve processes, and promote student success. This role serves as the University's subject matter expert on PLA, leading continuous improvement initiatives and fostering partnerships that support degree completion and workforce development.

Required Education

Masters degree in a related field

Required Related Experience

Two (2) years of experience delivering classroom, online, or hybrid instruction.

Desirable Related Experience

Three (3) years progressively responsible work experience with prior learning assessment programs or adult degree completion program preferred.

The Associate Athletic Trainer will report to the Associate Athletic Director of Sports Medicine. Provide direct supervision of intern athletic trainers, graduate athletic training students in the athletic training education program, and undergraduate student assistants assigned to football and/or other sports, as assigned; instruct these students in professional prevention, care, and rehabilitation of assigned student-athletes and the certification and licensure process

Classroom Assistant Teacher

The EI will work collaboratively with other professionals (e.g., service coordinators, therapists, interpreters, etc.) to support these children and their families by participating in IFSP meetings, completing visits together; exchanging information about strategies for helping families achieve child and family goals; maintaining accurate and up to date documentation as required by the program and by the state funding agency and performing other related tasks or special projects as assigned. Note: This position is contingent upon continued funding.
