Manager - Farm Laboratory Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Middle Tennessee State University School of Agriculture Farm Laboratories is looking for a specially qualified person to lead the Dairy Operations. This special individual should be able to: Manage the MTSU dairy herd; maintain records and milking equipment. Work with faculty to provide hands-on experiences for students and assist faculty with research projects. Must provide care for lactating dairy herd including milking, feeding, estrus detection and synchronization, and utilize artificial insemination. Manager must maintain a grade "A" milk standard according to the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance and Tennessee Department of Agriculture Dairy Regulatory requirements. Manager will allocate resources needed to accommodate faculty research and student experiential learning activities. Manager will make culling and breeding decisions for the lactating herd; Assigns work to employees as needed; assists with timesheet management for hourly employees. Manager is responsible for procurement of supplies to support the operation. Oversee milk parlor repairs, maintenance, and service. Manager will adhere to IACUC standards for all research projects. Manager will work with raw milk purchaser to ensure compliance with required animal handling techniques. Project Manager Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Work as part of the Construction/Renovation Services team. Design, implement, manage, and evaluate small renovation projects on MTSU campus. Assistant Director - Call Center/Communication Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Serves as a direct report to the Associate Director MT One Stop. Provides leadership and management for the in-house call center handling more than 35,000 calls per year. Recruits, hires, trains, supervises and evaluates for 4 call center agents including the management of temporary staff during peak times of the semester. Develops training modules for initial and on-going training and development. Investigates and resolves escalations that arise from students, parents, or university staff, assigns follow-up to staff as needed; determines call center operational strategies through data analysis, conducting needs assessments, capacity planning, and establishing efficiency and customer service standards. Develops and implements quality assurance programs, training, and monitoring staff performance. The director is ultimately responsible for ensuring the offering of a high quality early learning program.
