$49,942 - $61,678; commensurate with experience

Job Summary/Basic Function

• Work with healthcare providers in clinical capacity, rooming patients, performing testing, obtaining and documenting patients’ current symptoms, past medical/ surgical history, current medications, and allergies
• Assist university physicians in the evaluation, care and treatment of students' medical complaints following written medical protocol
• Collaborate with other departments on campus to aid the students as directed by the healthcare providers
• Responsible to the Director of Nursing to carry out duties as assigned

Required Education

Successful completion of Licensed Practical Nurse program

Required Related Experience

Two years of LPN experience in a hospital, urgent care, or medical office setting

Required License/Registration/Certification

Licensed as a License Practical Nurse in Tennessee
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required prior to the start date or must be obtained within the first month of employment.

Desirable Related Experience

• Experience in a University Health Setting
