Job Summary/Basic Function

Independently maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and replace complex HVAC, refrigeration, and control systems for campus facilities. Perform advanced diagnostics, system installations, major equipment replacements, and controls work. Serve as a technical resource for lower-classification staff and ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably.
- Perform advanced preventive maintenance and system optimization
- Diagnose complex HVAC malfunctions and determine repair vs. replacement
- Install and replace HVAC equipment and control systems
- Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and DDC control work
- Read and interpret complex wiring schematics and control drawings
- Coordinate with vendors for specialized parts and services
- Verify work quality and assist in guiding lower classification technicians
- Respond to critical system failures and emergency situations

Required Education

High school diploma or High School Equivalency

Required Related Experience

Significant experience with a wide variety of HVAC systems, or completion of a recognized HVAC apprenticeship

Required License/Registration/Certification

- EPA certification required
- Valid driver's license required.

Desirable Related Experience

410 A certification preferred

Teacher 1 - Ann Campbell Early Learning Center (ACE)

Reporting to the Director of the Ann Campbell Early Learning Center (ACE), the Teacher will create developmentally appropriate learning environments and experiences for toddlers and/or preschoolers with and without developmental delays, based on individual child assessments and developmentally appropriate practices. The Teacher will collaborate with a co-teacher and other classroom adults to facilitate the learning and development of all children through active engagement in a variety of daily activities and routines. The Teacher will support families as they transition their children to and from the Center each day and will model effective practices and provide guidance and information to University students completing course requirements within the classroom. The Teacher will also perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Classroom Assistant Teacher

Assist lead teacher with carrying out the daily activities of the classroom, including leading and engaging children in small and large group activities, assisting with regular routine tasks such as toileting, preparing and assisting with snacks and lunch, and supervising children at all times.
