Job Summary/Basic Function

Reporting to the Associate Vice Provost of Student Success, the Director of the Scholars Academy will oversee all operations, programming, and outcomes of the Scholars Academy. The Director will be responsible for recruitment and program growth as well as measuring success of the program by meeting persistence, retention, and completion goals. The Director will supervise the Assistant Director of Scholars Academy as well as recruit, train, and schedule all peer mentors included in the program. Additional responsibilities include working collaboratively with campus partners to identify programs, workshops, and related activities to enhance student involvement and success. The Director will also continually develop and maintain community partnerships to create awareness opportunities that further the program's vision and goals.

Required Education

Master's degree in related field.

Required Related Experience

Minimum of (2) years successful experience working with secondary or post-secondary at-risk students.

Required License/Registration/Certification

A valid driver's license is required.

Desirable Related Experience

Successful experience developing programs related to enhancing student success and or working directly with at risk students.
