Job Summary/Basic Function
Provide secretarial and clerical support to the Chair of World Languages, Literatures & Cultures. Provide assistance to students and faculty. Collect information to assist the chair in developing the World Languages, Literatures & Cultures class schedules each semester. Process workloads forms each semester for full time faculty, adjuncts and GTAs. Process contracts for full time faculty, adjunct faculty, GTAs and student help. Maintain operating and travel budgets for department. Provide clerical support for Chair and faculty members of department. Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Education
High School diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) required.
Required Related Experience
Three years of progressive secretarial/administrative experience required. Note: An associate's degree (two years of college coursework) and one year related experience - OR - a bachelor’s degree may be considered lieu of work experience.
Desirable Related Experience
Previous higher education experience preferred.
