Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for four full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty positions (#107150, #107360, #107430, and #119010) at the rank of lecturer. These are one-year temporary appointments with possible annual renewal for up to three years. The start date for the appointments is August 1, 2024.
Successful candidates will teach various general education courses employing active learning pedagogies as needed to satisfy a full-time teaching workload every year. They are also expected to be available to teach night classes as needed.
Required Education
A master's degree in mathematics or a closely related field is required by the appointment date.
