Provide clerical support for Educational Leadership and Early Learning Programs. Help MTSU students, staff, and faculty properly use software and equipment. Hire and organize training for Library Technology Services (LTS) student staff (25-30). Create daily schedules and assignments for LTS student staff. Schedule Team Leaders, and STAs for Library MakerSpace (25-30) and LTS (25-30). Train Team Leaders and STAs on use of Library MakerSpace equipment as assigned by Supervisor. Oversees the assessment of fines to student accounts, including correspondence with students, interpreting library policies to patrons, resolving discrepancies, and providing detailed and accurate reporting to the Bursar’s office. Train MTSU students, staff, and faculty on Makerspace equipment during Friday and Saturday shift as needed. Monitor and order LTS departmental supplies and supplies used for public and library staff printers. Provide installation, configuration, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of software and hardware for classrooms and computer labs in James E. Walker Library. Design and implement ePortfolio training required for MT Engage scholarship and some coursework. Coordinator-Annual Giving Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Coordinator of Annual Giving for Athletics will be responsible for soliciting and stewarding annual gifts for MTSU, with a focus on outright gifts to the Athletics program in support of all Blue Raider student-athletes. In collaboration with the Blue Raider Athletic Association (BRAA) staff, BRAA Board of Directors, and the MTSU Foundation, the Coordinator will oversee and execute the annual giving program for athletics. The position reports to the Associate Athletics Director for Development/Chief Development Officer. The Coordinator of Annual Giving for Athletics will assist the Deputy Athletic Director and Associate Athletic Directors in all aspects of the Athletic Fund Raising program for the University's 17 NCAA Division I sports. The Coordinator of Annual Giving for Athletics will be responsible for soliciting annual gifts for Middle Tennessee State University, with a focus on outright gifts to the Athletics program in support of all Blue Raider student-athletes. In collaboration with the Associate Athletics Director for Development, the Blue Raider Athletic Association (BRAA) the MTSU Foundation, the Coordinator will assist in oversight and execution of the annual giving program for athletics. This position will be the primary contact for all annual giving efforts and develop and initiate strategies for new member acquisitions and annual renewals. Additionally, the position will assist in the organization and implementation of the comprehensive annual giving strategy and membership campaign as approved by the Athletic Director, Deputy AD and Associate AD. Assist the Associate Athletic Director Athletic Communications with all forms of athletic communications for the Athletic department to include but not be limited to: all printed publications, NCAA official game statistics, web site coverage for assigned sports, video and audio streaming, game credentials and set up for television and radio communications. Responsible for all written and electronic communications for their assigned sports to include three major sports: men's basketball, men's and women's golf. Additionally, the position will work Football Gameday operations for the Associate Athletic Director. Duties include: production of media notes, pre and post season guides for media at assigned events, game day programs, posters, schedule cards, team magnets including layouts, photos and player biographies; production and distribution of game notes and oversee statistical information for national, regional and conference awards; and oversee media pass distribution for assigned sports. Assist Associate AD with all television, radio and electronic media outlets, approve all written and oral publications, newsletters, and news releases issued by the Athletic Department for assigned sports. Assist to review all content for the athletic web site in assigned sports to include: actual game footage, video clips, pop up athletic announcements and interactive marketing activities, oversee all statistical data for all athletic events, archived information, and other events sponsored by the Athletic Department i.e., weekly news conferences, men's basketball press luncheons, men's basketball radio and television coaches shows, material for sports video boards, and Conference instant replay systems used by the game officials on game day for official review of questionable plays in Men's Basketball. The position will also handle social media for all assigned sports which will include graphic work for each assigned program. and perform other related tasks as assigned.
