Job Summary/Basic Function

Work as a collaborative member of a primary medical care team serving university students, faculty, and staff in an ambulatory care setting within the scope of training and licensing. See patients for the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute injuries and illnesses. Position classified as Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician's Assistant depending on incumbent licensure and education.

Required Education

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Required 3 years primary care experience as advanced practitioner
Tennessee licensure
Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain upon hire

Required Related Experience

Three (3) years experience in primary care and related areas.

Required License/Registration/Certification

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Required 3 years primary care experience as advanced practitioner
Tennessee licensure
Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain upon hire

Desirable Related Experience

Experience in college health practice.
