The Assistant to the Vice President is responsible for coordinating the administrative duties of the Office of the Vice President for University Advancement and providing administrative support for the MTSU Foundation (Foundation). Essential duties of the job include: organizing, prioritizing, and setting agendas for the Vice President to manage the division's essential functions; keeping agendas and duties on target; and monitoring progress. Represent the Vice President and/or Division at University events or meetings as required. Maintain, manage, and coordinate the Vice President’s calendar, appointments, correspondence, travel, and meetings. Prepare, research, and communicate sensitive/confidential information with approved parties. Prepare reports and complete action item summaries. Perform other related tasks as assigned.
