The Detective is responsible for investigating suspected criminal incidents that occur on university property. The Detective will ensure that department and university policy and procedures are followed during criminal or other investigations. It is incumbent on the Detective to follow investigative best practices and ensure investigations are conducted with the highest level of morality, integrity, and excellence. The Detective will be required to work outside regularly scheduled hours on occasion. The Detective will also share on-call responsibilities with other personnel assigned to Investigations. The Detective must be able to serve as a police officer qualified to carry firearms; patrol the campus, interact with the community, testify in court proceedings, maintain accurate records, operate and maintain law enforcement equipment, enforce all state, local, and federal laws, and respond to emergency incidents.
Classroom Audio Visual Technician. Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Classroom Audio Visual Technician will provide professional microcomputer and audio visual support and maintenance for any MTSU owned or occupied space via phone, email, and in person. This position provides design, installation, training, maintenance, and technical support of new and existing classroom/computer lab and conference room technology. This includes, but is not limited to digital signage, projectors, speakers, Mac and windows computers, control modules, audio/video switchers, document cameras, video cameras, interactive touch panels, and printers. This position must remain knowledgeable about new and emerging technologies and continue to be innovative in order to provide the highest quality instructional technology environment. This position documents all support interactions in ITD's ticketing system. As needed, this position will participate in cross-departmental and/or University committees and perform other related tasks or special projects as assigned. Enrollment Coordinator I Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The EC I position is designed as the entry level position for the MT One Stop and is phase 1 of a 3-tier progression plan. The EC I is assigned to the front desk of the MT One Stop to serve as the primary point of contact for students seeking assistance in initial enrollment, ongoing retention and provide general assistance with transactions related to any of the enrollment services areas. Essential tasks include: answer general questions and problem solve across all enrollment management areas that include: bursar, financial aid, academic processes & residency, scheduling, and records. The EC I must understand the interrelationships among these areas; be able to assess the student's initial inquiry; discern co-related issues and resolve; or seek the advice/transfer the student to an Enrollment Coordinator II for assistance and resolution. Instructional Tech System Specialist Murfreesboro, Tennessee
This position will provide professional microcomputer and audio/visual support for MTSU owned or occupied spaces via phone, email, and in person. This position also provides expertise in enterprise software deployment over the network to approximately 8,000 computers across the MTSU campus. In this role the technician will perform deployment, installation, support, and training of these enterprise level software packages. This position documents all support interactions in the current ticketing system. In the absence of the System Administrator over MDM, this position will serve as a backup for those responsibilities. Assistant Strength Coach Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will assist the Assistant Athletic Director for Strength and Conditioning and the Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach with general oversight of the Strength and Conditioning Program for the university's 17 NCAA Division I sports.
