Coordinator-Testing Services Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The coordinator will report to the Director of Testing Services and oversee the implementation and administration of daily testing operations including scheduling, proctoring, and the delivery and maintenance of records. The position is responsible for ensuring testing security and legal compliance that all testing tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Early Intervention Specialist Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Early Intervention (EI) Specialist will provide regular in home and/or community based educational services to children birth to three years who have developmental delays or disabilities and provide support for their families as outlined on the family’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). This position requires a bachelor or advanced degree in one of the following: Early Childhood Special Education (preferred), Early Childhood Education, Child Development/Family Studies, Elementary Education, early intervention, deaf education or visual disabilities, special education K-12, communication disorders, speech/language pathology or a related field. Related field means a degree in social work, nursing, psychology, education administration, or sociology. Required related experience includes one (1) year experience including practicum, internship, volunteer or work experience with young children and their families. Valid TN driver's license, reliable transportation with vehicle insurance coverage required. If degree is in a related field, a minimum of 3 years documented experience working with children with disabilities 0-5 years of age and their families. The EI provides in-home (or currently virtual) services during regular business hours (8:00-4:30). In addition to completing home or community based visits, the EI will work collaboratively with other professionals (e.g., service coordinators, therapists, interpreters, etc.) to support children and their families by participating in IFSP meetings, completing visits together; exchanging information about strategies for helping families achieve child and family goals; maintaining accurate and up to date documentation as required by the program and by the state funding agency and performing other related tasks or special projects as assigned.
