Job Title

Heavy Equipment Lead Operator

Department

Salary

$35,000 - $42,875; commensurate with experience

Job Summary/Basic Function

Serve as sanitation driver and operate heavy equipment and machinery as lead worker in this capacity for the grounds department. Assist other departments within Facilities Services with jobs that require heavy equipment/machinery. Available for weekend work and/or callbacks as required.

Required Education

Completion of the eighth (8th) grade. High School diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) strongly preferred.

Required Related Experience

Two (2) years successful experience with the operation of heavy equipment.

Required License/Registration/Certification

Possession of valid Tennessee operators drivers license and Class B endorsement (Commercial drivers license) required.
