| The Assistant Director, Operations Management oversees the management of the inventory and maintenance of university-owned gear related to event productions. They supervise staff at the Event Productions warehouse and storage facilities, as well as at the repair shop located. They serve as Senior Project Manager for event planning and design through the final execution of the project and as the Senior Audio Technician on all major events, including system design, quality control, show execution standards, and support live and broadcast events across the university campus. Additional responsibilities include the following: (1) oversee warehouse operations as needed by ensuring proper inventory management, gear prep, and load-in/load-out processes; (2) organize and manage all equipment transportation to event locations; (3) supervise and prioritize gear repairs and maintenance, including repairs that are handled internally by our inhouse shop or externally by manufacturers, integrators, and other external repair facilities; (4) track gear repair and maintenance status; and (5) establish and maintain technical standards for the equipment.
A group of responsibilities is shared and coordinated with the Assistant Director, Technical Operations, which include the following: (1) provide project management duties for events assigned by the Director of True Blue TV Event Productions including the design, management, and execution of event functions; (2) development of equipment lists, diagrams, and equipment allocation to execute the functions properly; (3) identification and recruitment of appropriate crew members that are properly trained for the specific events; (4) ensure that audio/lighting/video/streaming/graphic equipment are properly programmed, and (5) ensure proper event work site safety procedures are followed by all staff in accordance university policy, OSHA, and TOSHA. |

Assistant Coach - Men's Basketball

| Assist the Head Men's Basketball coach in organizing and administering all aspects of our NCAA Division I men’s basketball program. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: day to day coaching of student athletes; individual skill instruction; recruiting athletically and academically sound, competitive student athletes that can compete at the NCAA Division I level; scheduling to enhance championship opportunities; oversee team travel planning; oversee and promote compliance of NCAA rules among staff, student athletes, and representatives of athletic interest; serve as a positive role model for student athletes; and assist Head Coach with managing assigned budgeted funds. Serve as the Defensive Specialist of all defensive systems, oversee staff and team managers, serve as housing liaison for off-campus apartments, oversee admissions for incoming players and work with the Academic Counselor to monitor tutor and study hall assignments, work with agents for graduation athletes, and act as a liaison with the MTSU Public Safety Department. Work to enhance the image of the University, promote positive community relations, and perform other related tasks or projects as assigned. |

| Serves as a point of contact for faculty, staff, and students seeking technical assistance with university information technology systems and services. Provides tier 1 level troubleshooting and resolution for technical issues including desktop/laptop hardware and software, mobile devices, peripherals, enterprise applications, network connectivity, cloud services, email systems, and web-based tools. Delivers timely support through multiple channels including phone, email, chat, walk-in service, and ticketing systems to maximize user productivity and minimize service disruptions.
