University Police Officers work to provide safety and security for Middle Tennessee State University students, faculty, staff, and visitors. As the most visible portion of the university's safety initiatives, University Police Officers patrol the campus and answer calls for service on foot, in cars and on bicycles 24-hours a day. University Police Officers interact with community members on a daily basis in order to establish collaborative partnerships focused on the protection and safety of the university community. Successful candidates are expected to have a dedication to service, and a commitment to the department's mission to provide a safe learning, teaching, and working environment to a diverse university community. As a full-service police department, officers are required to obtain, possess, and/or maintain a Tennessee Peace Officer Certification, qualify, and carry firearms.

James E. Walker library seeks a talented individual to work as a Web Developer in the Collections Development and Management department. The web developer provides the support and development of web applications for the library, focusing on the main library's website on LibGuides CMS, as well as the maintenance of related sites in content management systems, such as Drupal and WordPress. There may be additional opportunities to work with the library's integrated library system (FOLIO), discovery systems (VuFind, EBSCO Discovery Service), and other custom web projects.
This position requires knowledge of front-end and back-end development skills for web projects. The Director Fraternity & Sorority Life will work in conjunction with the Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life to provide oversight of leadership development and programming for 24 fraternities and sororities associated with National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), Panhellenic Council and North American Interfraternity Conference. The focus is to advise, counsel, and mentor students; facilitate programming in the areas of risk management, membership recruitment/intake and education; problem resolution, and community planning. The Director will coordinate and present educational programs for the entire Greek system and individual chapters; maintain records and prepare reports on fraternity and sorority academic standing, housing occupancy and recruitment statistics; provide oversight for the Greek Row men's fraternity house and liaison with Housing and Residential Life in providing direct support to the sororities housed on Greek Row; and work with Housing and Residential Life in reaching 100% occupancy in all Greek Row houses. The Director serves as liaison between the university and individual chapters, and advisors; reports to the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs; will work in collaboration with designated staff in Development Office to interface with and address concerns of fraternity and sorority alumni, and perform other related special projects as assigned.
Desirable Related Experience: Oversight of a fraternity/sorority life program at a college or university and experience in program and event management preferred. Experience as a professional staff member for an (inter)national fraternity or sorority may be considered. Membership in a fraternity or sorority is strongly preferred. |

The Physician Assistant Studies Program is seeking a part-time/adjunct faculty member for a cadaver-based anatomy course. The Physician Assistant Studies Program is a 27-month-long program to prepare students to enter the medical workforce as accomplished clinicians. Each cohort begins in May. As part of the first semester, students perform human dissection-based anatomy accompanied by in-class lectures.
The program is looking for skilled applicants who can prosect human cadavers, which will arrive on April 25, 2023, and oversee the anatomy lab three times per week for 15 weeks. This is not a lecturer position. |

Serve as liaison to graduate business students from the initial information inquiry stage through the application process; monitor degree requirements and completion of the defined MBA degree program per defined protocol. The Graduate Student Advisor will work with students from the point of matriculation to graduation. The primary role is to provide educational guidance and assistance for students by planning schedules, recommending courses and determining appropriate education solutions. The Graduate Student Advisor will monitor student progression and intervene as necessary to ensure students stay on track for graduation. The Graduate Student Advisor is responsible for the retention of the graduate students and will have ongoing, regular contact with the graduate students to ensure they are aware of available interventions that could help them succeed. Majority of the students in the Program are Online students. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining accurate student records using internal student tracking software to support the retention strategies and evaluate student progress and satisfaction. The incumbent will coordinate the logistics for Executive Education Seminars and graduate student orientation. The Graduate Student Advisor will perform related tasks and special projects as assigned.
