Job Summary/Basic Function

Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Financial Aid, job responsibilities include:
(1) Manage all processes regarding Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress.
(2) Utilize SQL and Argos, write reports used for multiple purposes within the Financial Aid Office. Create / update Dynamic Forms.
(3) Supervise a Financial Aid Coordinator and Financial Aid Assistant.
(4) Monitor overaward reports and adjust financial aid as necessary.
(5) Provide backup to the Associate Director of Financial Aid regarding electronic file submissions to the Federal Department of Education, Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation, etc.
(6) Provide technical support to Financial Aid Office staff.
(7) Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree required

Required Related Experience

Two (2) years progressively responsible experience with computer systems in a service environment, university financial aid or enrollment management office or related area.

Desirable Related Experience

- Three (3) years progressively responsible experience with computer systems in a service environment, university financial aid or related area;
- Three (3) years progressively responsible federal / state financial aid experience;
- Experience utilizing the Ellucian Banner Software System or related Financial Aid Management (FAM) system.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Argos.
