Job Summary/Basic Function
As a direct report to the Director of Enrollment Technical Services, assist the Enrollment Technical Services staff to test computer programs/upgrades and write reports running against relational databases reporting tools such as Argos, Microsoft Access and iSQL. Assist with automating tasks to eliminate manual processes where possible. Serve as a primary resource to provide training, answer questions and resolve issues related to Banner Student System. Study feasibility of programming requests; approve security request, assist staff with abort and error resolutions and problems; assist with electronic loads of test scores; and assist with Clearinghouse, Census/End of Term Enrollment reporting, etc. Search for and implement automated solutions for Enrollment Services. Write ad hoc reports and create electronic transactions to update Banner as requested and perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree.
Required Related Experience
Two (2) years progressively responsible experience with computer systems in a service environment, university financial aid or enrollment management office or related area required.
Desirable Related Experience
Three (3) years progressively responsible experience with computer systems in a service environment, university financial aid or enrollment management office or related area preferred.
