| The Lead Electrician is a hands-on, working Journeyman electrician responsible for leading and performing all aspects of electrical work across MTSU’s assets. This includes the installation, repair, retrofitting, and maintenance of both exterior and interior lighting systems, main electrical boxes and switch gear, electrical circuits, and electrical infrastructure. In addition to supervising electrical work and mentoring electrical staff. The Lead Electrician will actively participate in fieldwork, ensuring that all installations and repairs are completed to code, on time, and with the highest safety standards. This role requires a strong commitment to craftsmanship, leadership, and direct involvement in daily operations. As a member of a multi-discipline team, assist with other tasks or special projects in other skill areas as assigned. Work locations include all university property, Guy James Farm, Swine Farm, Foundation Reception House, Beef Unit and Airport and other locations. Emergency overtime and after hour callbacks required.
Desirable Related Experience: Demonstrate expertise working at the Master Electrician level in commercial, industrial, &/or institutional electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. Possess additional building trades skills, particularly plumbing skills. |

| The Manager of Strategic Communications for Annual Giving, Stewardship, and Donor Relations assists with the development, implementation, and assessment of a comprehensive university-wide strategic plan focused on donor acquisition, donor retention, and growing our culture of philanthropy. The incumbent serves as the primary stewardship contact for the entire university, comprised of more than 150,000 alumni, 20,000 students, 2,000 faculty and staff, and thousands of MTSU friends and donors. Additionally, the incumbent provides leadership and guidance based upon best practices to all college and unit-based Managers of Strategic Communications while managing assigned personnel. This position reports to the Director of Annual Giving, Stewardship, and Donor Relations. Occasional nights and weekends required. Experience in project management, event planning, and / customer service preferred. |
